Day1: Beijing

You will meet your guide at the airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. After check in the hotel, we will have an unforgotten memory about Peking Opera which is the most representative of all Chinese traditional dramatic art forms.

Day 2: Beijing

Tiananmen is located in the center of the city which is the portal of Ming and Qing dynasty. With more than 500 years history, Tiananmen is a witness to change of dynasties. After visiting the Tiananmen, we will move to the Forbidden City which is the Imperial Palace for Ming and Qing emperors. There is totally 24 emperors lived and ruled China in the Forbidden City for more than 500 years. Enjoying your lunch in a local restaurant, then we will go to the Summer Palace . Lots of historical events were took place in Summer Palace which is also political and diplomatic center of the late Qing Dynasty. It reflects the high standard of Chinese traditional gardening art that is "natural". (B+L+D)

Day 3: Beijing

Great Wall is a miracle that made by the Chinese people. Constructing the Great Wall is a big project from the Qin Dynasty, millions of people are forced to build. You could close to the symbol of Chinese civilization - Great Wall and have a sweet memory. After having lunch in a local restaurant, we will explore Hu Tong which has already existed for a long time in Beijing . Hu Tong is not only the mode of people's living but also the Beijinger's culture type, that is an important part of Chinese culture if not the most important part. The essence of it is "tolerance". We will enjoy the Peking duck in the evening. (B+L+D)

Day 4: Beijing - Xian

In the morning we will go to the Temple of Heaven . From the history records, the worship of heaven and earth could back to 2,000 years ago. Temple of Heaven is the place that the emperors show their respects to the God. The worship of heaven and earth play an important part in Chinese politics. Then we will take flight to the ancient city-Xian. Local guide will meet you at the exit of the airport. After check in, we will go to a special area that lives Muslim. Great Mosque is a worth place that you could see the unique architecture only in Xian. The well-knit combination of the traditional Chinese architecture with the typical Islamic styles is acclaimed by a lot of people as the acme of perfection. After enjoy your dinner in a local restaurant, we will look the night market-Muslim Quarter in Xian. The narrow lanes are full of butcher shops, smaller mosques hidden behind enormous wooden doors and proud, stringy-bearded men wearing white skullcaps. You will get an unforgotten memory from it. Day 5: Xian

Terracotta Army is an amazing place that you will never missing. For the first Emperor of the Qin Dynasty to build a terracotta army-array on such a large scale the gist of his doing so is very clear. It is obviously to show that he is such an emperor who ever ruled over a large country with a big population and his great achievements would benefit the country for a long, long time to come. After visiting the Terracotta Army, we will back to the city and have lunch in a local restaurant. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is also the symbol of Xian. The children who started to learn painting is begin from drawing The Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Banquet and Tang Dynasty Dance Show in the evening which will take you back to the flourishing period-Tang Dynasty. (B+L+D)

Day6: Xian

Today we will explore the Huxian Country which is celebrated as "home of farmer paintings, where over 2,000 famous farmer painters have grown up. Every piece of work is drawn with simple sketches and painted with colours of strong contrast, so that the unconstrained imagination of the painters are well expressed. Paper Cutting is another traditional art of Chinese cultural which express the best wishes for the future. After learn the process of how to make paper cutting and farmer painting, you can try to make one for a good memory. Chatting with a local family and learn the local custom will be a very interesting experience for you. Then you will have a traditional lunch which made by the local family. (B+L+D)

Day7: Xian-Chengdu

City Wall is not only the most intact and well preserved built-up of an ancient city in China but also an existing military citadel of ancient times, the largest in scale and the most complete of its kind in the world. A professor of Chinese Kong Fu-Tai Chi will give you a lesson on the City Wall. Then fly to Chengdu which is famous for pandas. Sichuan Opera performances rich flavor of life, lively, witty humor. In order to mould better characters , Sichuan Opera artists create many new skills to performance a new form of a Sichuan Opera Characteristics. We will enjoy the Sichuan Opera Performance in a classic theater. ( B+L+D)

Day8: Chengdu

We will visit the Moon Bear Rescue Center, an international animal protection operation setup to counter the black market harvesting of bear organs . We will enjoy the Bamboo Banquet in Wang Jianglou, and then view the Wang Jianglou Park which is like a bamboo museum. More than 200 kinds of bamboo are here.

Day9: Chengdu - Wolong - Jiu Zhaigou

Drive to Wolong in the morning. Get a close-up look into the life of the endangered Giant Panda as you explore the Wolong Nature Reserve, home to over 180 Pandas. And then Fly to Jiu Zhaigou.

Day10: Jiu Zhaigou

The nature reserve of Jiu zhaigou is undoubtedly the scenic highlight of our trip, and we will spend the next several days overnight and trekking in the reserves, exploring-mostly off the main tourist trails-the parks expansive terrain of pristine forests, grass-covered slopes, lakes, deep ravines and waterfalls.

Day12: Jiu Zhaigou - Guilin

After breakfast we will take flight to Guilin which is world-renowned for historical and cultural. We will visit the magnificent Reed Flute Cave, which filled with the large numbers of stalactites and stalagmites that form many wonderful sights. The cave is called Reed Flute Cave because there is a kind of Reed growing at the entrance to the cave which can be made into a pipe for playing pleasant music. A prince's place was once built around Solitary Beauty Peak. An academy of learning was built at the foot of Solitary Beauty Peak in the Tang Dynasty. The vast water of Li River, 12 background peaks and beautiful starry sky constitute the largest landscape theater. We will enjoy the performance which named Impression of Sister Liu in the evening. Day13: Guilin-Yangshuo

In the morning we will take an exciting boating tour to Xingping which has more than 1,300 years of history and enjoy the beautiful landscape of mountains of both banks along the Lijiang River. Existing Tang Theater, Ming architecture, temple ruins, brick road and so on to demonstrate the old town with a deeply culture background. Yucun is another place you should never miss which is built in 1506, and only the people of high rank or status could live here. As much as 500 years old the whole town with unique building structure and typical characteristics of Ming and Qing Dynasty residents is still well preserved. Enjoying a cup of coffee in Yangshuo West Street which also called Foreign Street for more than 20 stores are opened by foreigners, you could also rent a bicycle to explore the small town. (B+L+D)

Day14: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai

Embark on coach back to Guilin. Then you will take a flight to Shanghai which is the modern and ancient perfect combination city. After check in the hotel, you will have a free time to explore this beautiful city. In the evening we will have an unforgotten memory about Chinese Acrobatic Show which date back to the Neolithic Age of China. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Shanghai

Yuyuan Garden was established in 1559 which was originally a private garden in Ming Dynasty. More than 40 ancient architectures represent the art style of Ming and Qing Dynasty southern gardens. Today, Temple of the Town Gods is consisted of numerous Chinese traditional snakes that are worth going. Then, we spend the afternoon exploring the charming French Quarter, strolling through this district's tree-lined boulevards and visiting the historic home of Sun Yat-sen (father of modern China). Day 11: Departure from Shanghai

After breakfast, our guide will see you off by transfer you from the hotel to the airport. (B)

Note: Moon Bear Rescue Centre hold Open Day Tours twice a month. Visitors are specially guided around the sanctuary by staff members. These Open Day Tours are limited to 4 groups of 20 people per day. The tour lasts approximately 1 - 1.5 hours. If you decided the tour please let us know as soon as possible that we could confirmed the tour for you.
